Join me for an inspiring conversation with Jen!

In this episode, Jen shares:

  • How she was doing inside sales for a restaurant equipment company—sitting in a cubicle all day long, when she knew something had to change.

  • How she reached the point where she said, “I CAN’T do this anymore!”

  • How a twist of irony delivered her first client in her new venture---the restaurant equipment company where she formerly worked!

  • She already played music around town, but took online classes about recording and producing and had her new business up and running in about two weeks!

  • How her friends and family were supportive and even more confident than she was!

  • How her band mixes original music and cover work, mostly in the country and rock genres.

  • Whether speaking or singing, finding your voice is the KEY.

  • Besides leaving the sales job, starting her podcast has been a pivotal event that has been exciting and fulfilling.

  • Her advice to other creatives? “Figure out what you can do to add value to the people around you.”

  • Jen shares how the women who are the most successful in the music business are pro-active, busy, and naturally skilled in networking and connecting.

  • One of the themes of her podcast is giving women role models to follow.

Welcome! Today’s SHEro is Katharine Wolf, who made the conscious decision to open up to trusting herself, her emotions, and her intuition.

This trust has led her to move from city life in London to the wild, rural countryside of Dartmoor.

Kate is a healer and guide, and the founder of Wild Women Success. She is a yoga teacher and business coach who prefers to work with clients in small groups or on a one-on-one basis. Her passion is to teach women to follow their desires in life and in business.

Join me for an inspiring conversation with Katharine!

In this episode, Katharine shares:

  • How her life in London was lovely, but just “ok;” she literally felt like she was dying

  • How a barefoot run through the woods revealed to her what her next steps should be

  • How fates merged to provide her a cottage home in Dartmoor

  • How resonance and alignment became her truth in knowing what she should do

  • How she came to the point where she couldn’t deny herself anymore

  • How the support from people she trusted empowered her to make big changes

  • How even her parents’ skepticism couldn’t sway her from staying centred and focused

  • How she confronted her doubts and fears and the reality of what her decision meant
“I stayed anchored into the ‘knowing’ I had in the forest that this was the right thing to do.”

  • How non-attachment can lead to rationalizing if you aren’t completely honest

  • How she learned to “practice” her muscle of intuition

  • How creating time and space are critical in trusting yourself

Biggest Learning:

Do it anyway
“Do the scary things that make no sense.”

Favourite Quote:

“You must give birth to images. They are the future, waiting to be born. Fear not the strangeness you feel; the future must end to you long before it happens. Just wait for the birth, for the hour of new clarity.” – Rilke
